Distinction creates differentiation

Architecture and interior design firm Pearson Design Group prides itself on creating interiors and exteriors imbued with the personality of those who will reside within them. As much about person as place, Pearson projects are uniquely inspired to reflect distinct clients, landscapes, environmental features, materials, and the legacy of each, both as separate entities and in communion with the cohesive whole. Massive rebranded the company as PDG — to reflect Founding Principal Larry Pearson's desire to step out of the limelight — and overhauled the website and social media presence. As a direct result of Massive's expertise, the social media campaign organically grew the largest empirically practical audience of any regional architectural firm to date.

Identity

PDG is a unique architectural and interior design firm in its humanistic focus. Certainly, PDG designs big, beautiful homes and fills them with equally beautiful things, but the company's intentionality behind those design decisions reflects the humans at their center and is scaled to serve their place in life while respecting a planet with finite resources. The “why” is as important as the “what,” the architecture's philosophical impact as important as its physical one.

It is in this nuanced approach to building homes rather than constructing houses that Massive centered PDG's brand identity.

Social Media Management

Massive spearheaded the most successful social media and digital advertising campaign of any regional architectural firm, organically growing PDG’s audience exponentially with targeted, value-added content and dramatic, eye-candy imagery. And the audience isn’t just an audience for its own sake — for “likes” and mindless drivel — the audience generated leads, and the leads became clients. Social media achieved its purported intention — it converted views to vision — and, while we’re as surprised as anyone, we’re also pleased as punch about it.

Website

PDG’s bold choice to forgo a striking house image on its landing page reflects its deeper mission—crafting homes that embody personal identity rather than just grand, lifeless structures. This commitment to humanism is evident in the cozy nooks, dramatic views, and custom features they create. By developing a website that captures this unique corporate identity, Massive set PDG apart from every other brand in its market.

Video

Sometimes, imagery tells the most poignant story. Massive produced two videos for PDG: one traverses the arc of the company’s structural artistry; the other tours Camp Tapawingo in Wisconsin, PDG’s eight-building architectural manifesto of the healing power of nature.
