Daily Coffee & Eatery

Giving the oldest coffee shop in Bozeman a sunny new disposition

Caffeinating Bozeman's most discriminating coffee aficionados for over 25 years, The Daily Coffee & Eatery needed a new look and fresh styling to remain as hot as its coffee for evolving times, palates, and regional demographics.

Identity

As Bozeman's oldest coffee shop, the Daily had an established local presence and loyal, though dwindling clientele. Its rebrand reflects the new owner's desire to rejuvenate the aesthetic and ethos, while throwing down an undeniable welcome mat to newcomers. We proposed an approach as intuitive as it was inspired:

Massive incorporated the signature color and logo across all touchpoints in which the identity is integrated, creating a cohesive presence. A marriage of artistry and damn good designers, the result just looks cool, pure and simple.

Experience

In conjunction with the new visual identity, Massive proposed the “dalien,” a spunky little mohawked alien that traipses his overly caffeinated, tattooed tush through seasonal outdoor adventures, local festivities, and more. The dalien is a signature feature of the Daily’s social media presence, particularly Instagram, and graces the spectrum of swag merch options, from thermo cups to trucker hats.

Space-inspired decor to put the dalien at ease provides nuanced touches throughout the coffee-house interiors as well. It’s a cup full of fun, a shot of snarky humor, and a dollop of sass. It’s all you could want from a local brand delivering intoxicatingly aromatic bean water. And did we mention it looks cool?
